Third, after understanding your role in the team, it is easier to identify whether there is any need of improving your skills in order for one to perform better in the team. Lastly, trust among all the team members is crucial. This implies that helping each other out would be highly beneficial to the effectiveness of the team. In case one of the team members is falling behind, other members should be willing to help. The leader plays an important role on how the team operates, and it is therefore important to open up to the team members in order to make them feel like they can trust you and freely speak their mind within the group (Woodcock, 102). Secondly, it is important to realize that what works for one person may not necessarily apply to someone else. Allow the tea members to express themselves in the way they most feel comfortable. Lastly, come up with team building strategies in order to improve communication within the team and build trust among team members.
